TUSEN ÅR HOS GUD - Kompani Giraff
One night God reveals himself at Isaac Newtons home and repeal the law of gravity. Newton in his turn puts God in the natural order, forcing him into the humiliation of human life. Tusen år hos Gud is a suggestive allegory and philosophical ghost ballad as with breathtaking illustrations open up a larger conversation about time, religion and science. Tusen år hos gud was written six months before Dagerman's death and was meant as a prologue to a larger novel about God and mankind.
Company Giraffs performance involves an opera singer and magician, an actor and two circus artists.
The performance is a multidisciplinary and visual show dramatized by Stina Oscarson , premiering September 10, 2016 at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm (Sweden).
